Job Description
We are searching for a Signalling Project Engineer to support South Rail Systems Alliance (SRSA) work bank.
This opportunity will be based out of Swindon they may also support other regions as a Project Engineer.
Role:
- Undertake the role of DPE (Designated Project Engineer) and Lead Engineer as laid out in the Engineering Management for Projects NR/L2/INI/02009 standard for the Design
- Monitor the project for compliance with Railway Group, Company Standards and Technical Specifications
- Undertake the reviews of deferred items for the project and engage with clients & stakeholders to provide a solution where necessary.
- Validate the assurances and compliance to the clients requirements and engineering Validation and Verification, ensuring the delivery of the project is in line with corporate and regional governance, processes and systems.
- Engage and manage stakeholder's expectations and keep stakeholders involved in the entire project lifecycle and write and provide assurances on the Trackside Statement of Compatibility
- Advise the project and programme management in respect of all design, construction, testing and commissioning activities, including undertaking inspections of design and construction activities on site and provide supervision where required.
- Perform CRE duties within Signalling if required
Qualifications
- Strong Project Engineering Experience within Signalling
- Engineering Degree or experience/ licenses valdidated to undertake the role
