McCulloch Rail have been in business since 1992 and offer engineering solutions on the railway infrastructure.
The company carries out four main activities on the railway infrastructure;
• Burning & recovery of scrap rails, switches, crossings and all related materials,
• Installing rails,
• transposing and transporting of rails, switches, crossings and sleepers,
• Fine Lining and Sleeper Spacing
The company is a small family run business employing 44 people. Brothers William and Danny McCulloch, together with Janette Anderson, own and manage the company ensuring that the day to day business runs smoothly & efficiently, and also keeping the company up to date with new technology, working practices and procedures.
McCulloch Rail own a small fleet of road/rail vehicles and equipment all tested and approved to work on the railway infrastructure. These include;
• Unimogs
• Rail Trolleys
• Skid-steers
• Track Rail Transposers
• FLASS
All vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
