Our client a major civil engineering contractor are looking for an experienced Agent to join their team working on a major London Underground station fit out and build project.

The Agent role will be a client facing one, and integration and collaboration is actively encouraged.

The main responsibilities of the Agent include:

•Management of section contractors on the main project works (Architectural package), to be confirmed as the project progresses, on both the new build and the existing station
•To manage the site production team to achieve the project objectives, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and LU QUENSH Conditions
•To take specific accountability for allocated work areas or contractors on the project
•To challenge suppliers and ensure that suppliers / subcontractors’ works are co-ordinated, produced in accordance with the drawings and specifications without defects, and in accordance with the Contract Programme and works are delivered efficiently, i.e. within budget
•Managing the impact of the works on adjacent neighbours, public interfaces and LU Operations
•Interface with all necessary third parties including LU Operations, Consultants and LU Project Representatives etc., to ensure all necessary notifications and inspections are undertaken at the correct times
•To ensure that the project CPP (Safety Management System) is adhered to and duties robustly discharged

The ideal candidate for this role must have previous experience of fit-out / building works and experience of working in the London Underground environment. Strong management skills are essential along with good communication and IT Skills.
