We currently seek a high calibre Assistant Telecoms Design Engineer to join our client’s rail team of experienced professionals on a permanent basis. Based in Warrington, you will be working for a leading consultancy company on major rail projects with a salary of £25-30,000 + excellent benefits.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Current Telecomms Consultant solely on Rail contracts across the UK. You will join the dedicated Rail team in the North West, working on technical design rail schemes, ranging from new build depots to station enhancements and track schemes.
The successful candidate will have the following knowledge:
• Retail / Operational experience (A good balance of trackside / retail communications experience).
• Design, project engineering, surveys and report writing.
• Degree in a relevant subject
• Knowledge of Platforms, Concourse, Ticket Office and Equipment rooms.
PTS would be an advantage.
