This recognised world leader who manufacturer rail braking systems are currently expanding there sales division due to continued growth Australia wide. Using the latest in technology they are at the forefront of the market and play a significant part in improving rail and road safety. Your role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities leading to close. You will work closely on developing new business relationships and you will also manage an existing portfolio of strategic key accounts. These relationships are already very strong and valuable to the business. Typical responsibilities will include the following:-
Promote and sell braking systems to customers in rolling stock
Maximise the portfolio of existing clients.
Report directly into the Sales Director of Business Development.
Liaise with the project management office, customers, stakeholders and influence tender delivery.
Deliver agreed budget objectives.
Develop and implement business strategies to target new markets and maintain market share.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
The Candidate
Sales experience within rail industry or a related field is essential.
Results focused and self motivated.
Thrive in developing existing markets as well as targeting new markets.
The ability to speak to senior decision makers with confidence.
Highly technical / solutions sales approach.
Career driven and ability to work autonomously.
