A Civil Design Manager, with structures experience, is sought by a Brisbane based company to manage a growing Civil Design Team on in the QLD Rail Sector.

You will be an experienced Civil Design Manager, with experience in developing and leading design teams on rail infrastructure projects. The Design Manager is a key role, requiring a candidate with a proven history of the Australian infrastructure market.
The Design Manager duties will consist of the following duties:
- Civil design review/ management
- Scoping, spec, design on structural elements on rail projects
- Engineering standards management
- Ability to build, manage and mentor a team
- Safety compliance with legislations and regulations
- Technical management and advice
This is a great opportunity for a Design Manager to join an established company with the opportunity of further career advancement and ongoing development. A civil engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years design management experience in rail infrastructure, with 15 years rail engineering experience is essential. Proven knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements is sought. A structures background is essential for this role.
