They are seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager for a major design & construct road project in the South East encompassing 6kms of new highway and 20 structures; the scheme will be administered under the NEC form of contract, option ‘C’. It is foreseen that the project will be delivered within a 30 month period. It is required that the successful individual have experience of operating at a senior level on a major design & build project valued over £30m within the road sector. As a Commercial Manager you will be accountable for the full commercial and financial performance of the scheme, procurement, monthly reporting to the board, change control & compensation events management, applications to the client and managing a small commercial team.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be educated to a minimum of HND, administered projects under the NEC form of contract, be experienced in road projects and be a self-sufficient and ‘stand-alone’ Individual who is used to working autonomously.
