Commissioning Manager - London
Salary and Location
A basic salary of up to £55000 is on offer alongside a generous package.
A role has become available for a Commissioning Manager to work within a busy engineering team. You will become involved with the commissioning of high voltage power upgrades on the railway network.
Role Description
The role of commissioning manager requires that you
• Manage all the testing and commissioning activities on a project
• Interface with clients
• Liaise with the Engineering manager and design teams
• Ensure that there are adequate resources available
• Set the standards for the test and commissioning manager
• Develop test and inspection plans and procedure
• Interface with contractors on the projects
Required Experience
For this role you will be required to have the following
• Detailed understanding of AC and DC Electrification
• A qualification in an electrical engineering discipline
• Knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground standards and regulations
• Understanding of health and safety issues
• A proven ability to manage engineering staff
• Good communication skills
