We have an exceptional opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a top-ranking civil engineering organisation working on a major rail project that will change London for years to come.
In the role of Contracts Manager, you will perform all tasks involved in the formation and award of subcontracts and will communicate with bidders and personnel within the company to establish clear definition of requirements and to assure performance to the stated project requirements.
You will also assist and conduct meetings as needed to perform the work and direct negotiation in the commitment of contracts along with assisting when instructed in the planning, staffing, work-hour calculations, budgeting and contract procedures preparation.
It is critical you are degree qualified in a key Engineering discipline with broad experience in the formation, negotiation and award of all types of contracts.
You also have experience of working either a Heavy Civils, Tunnels or Complex Station Modernisation environments. Experience in developing complex contract types, fee arrangements, terms and conditions is also required.
