An excellent opportunity working out of prestigious offices with rooftop terrace over looking sunny London awaits an experienced Permanent Way Designer.
This company is seeking to expand their award winning team with tenacious, vibrant and motivated individuals who are looking to be rewarded both financially and through promotion based on their achievements
An excellent basic and package is available for those with LU & MX Rail experience.
Company benefits include:- Basic salary of up to £50,000, Pension, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance and Annual Bonus of up to 10%
Key Duties & Responsibilities:-
•Providing clients with track design expertise
•Developing track layout and route alignment designs
•Supervising Junior Engineers and Technicians
•Working efficiently using the latest software
•With the support of Learning and Development, actively pursue CPD and further professional qualification
Necessary Skills & Experience:-
•Experience in all aspects of Permanent Way design, from feasibility to detail design levels
•Highly experienced in the use of Bentley Rail Track and MX Rail
•Have a knowledge of Clear Route
•Capable of carrying out production and independent checks of a wide variety of Permanent Way Design details
•Experience of London Underground standards
•Possess an understanding of system engineering concepts and safety management
•Be familiar with emerging Permanent way geometry and materials
•Be familiar with construction and installation methods
•Have an understanding of project planning and costing
•Able to write and check reports and specifications
•Good communication and people skills as well as the necessary technical design experience to carry out supervision, project management and checking roles on various permanent way design schemes
