As a Nexus card holder you will be required to assist in the installation of metal cages either side of the Newcastle tram line which will help in the retention of ballast. Your general duties whilst working on the tramlink will be groundworks, ballast shovelling, lifting, carrying and general site duties.
You must have a valid, in-date NEXUS card ( also known as a Nexus safety passport or a PTS Nexus card) to enable you to work on the Newcastle tramlink nexus project.If you do not have this card then you need not apply.
The work is on possessions and will be over the weekend periods, they will usually be 11 hour shifts on either days or nights over the weekend period. Nights will commence on a Friday midnight and days on a Saturday mid-day.
