HSE Manager, HSSE Professional and Health, Safety and Environmental Executive
Location: The position is to be based in Qatar and my client would be interested in hearing from applicants living in Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., Oman and all other GCC countries
Salary/ Benefits: £95,000 to £100,000 this is negotiable and dependant on experience. The successful HSE manager will benefit from and excellent base salary which is tax free with allowances for accommodation, travel and food. After the initial project, the successful candidate will have the chance to progress their career to a more senior position within the company.
Project Information
My client handle all phases of the construction process, from concept through completion and offers extensive project management and construction claims consulting services worldwide. Having participated in over 10,000 project assignments with a total construction value of over 500 billion.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- A minimum of 10 years work experience in HSE
- Rail experience
- Degree qualified is preferred
- Capable of delivering innovative HSE management interventions to promote a culture of continuous improvement in accordance with a Zero Harm philosophy. Experienced in the delivery of HSE training to raise awareness of relevant requirements and undertaking incident investigation through root cause analysis
Role Information
As HSE Manager will be responsible for validation and implementation of HSE plans, ensuring that adequate processes and procedures are in place to manage risks. They will also undertake inspections and audits and assess HSE performance to identify areas for improvement. You will be responsible for emergency preparedness including working with relevant entities in developing and implementing emergency preparedness plans, emergency operating procedures and standard operating procedures.
