Our client is looking for an experienced HSQE Manager to join their water division in London.
As HSQE Manager you will have overall control of the HSQE division, ensuring that all projects are given HSQE Support.
Main Responsibilities of the HSQE Manager:
•Developed a culture of HSQE responsibility and exemplary performance.
•Provide support to all HSQE staff across the division and co ordinate work loads.
•In conjunction with the head of the business unit allocate HSQE resources across the projects and recruited additional resources as required.
•Management of all divisional HSQE staff to ensure they fulfil both project and divisional requirements to include motivation and monitoring of performance.
•Work with the Group H&S / Environmental& Quality Managers to help maintain consistency with the group Management Systems.
•Carry out Audits on all projects to ensure the work is being carried out to both legislative & company requirements
•Carry out detailed accident and incident investigations across the division in line with the company’s policy and procedure.
•Maintain divisional HSQE statics and identify any trends and produce regular reports and recommendations to the head of the business unit and the Group HSQE department.
•Represent the division at both Client & Company HSQE forums.
The ideal candidate for the position of HSQE Manager will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the water or utilities sector, hold an ISOH Environmental certificate and have proven experience in a similar role.
