A public sector organisation that operations and maintains the efficient delivery of safe, secure and reliable rail transport for NSW seeks to employ an Infrastructure Design and Construction Manager.
You are a degree qualified electrical engineer, ideally with previous experience in the rail industry. With a strong computing background, you will have an in-depth knowledge of the full design and construction process with particular reference to complex control systems, LAN and LV power. Furthermore, knowledge of signalling would also be an advantage.
You will be a confident people manager, accustomed to leading teams of engineers, designers and technical experts. You will be leading a team responsible for the successful design and construction of control centres, therefore you will have a thorough understanding of the management and delivery of such projects including successful installation and testing. Your strong communication skills will ensure you are capable of liaising with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels and providing expert advice on the infrastructure components of control systems.
