Level Crossing – Various levels – York - £Negotiable + Benefits
Due to significant growth within the Level Crossing design market, our client is looking to expand its department and requires two Level Crossings Engineers for their team based in York.
Ideally we are looking for an experienced level crossing designer who can design level crossings in MicroStation, mentor a team of level crossing designers and check level crossing ground plans. We also require a less senior engineer who would be involved in all activities associated with the survey and design or level crossings to current standards.
We would expect candidates for the Senior position to have extensive experience of designing / checking level crossing ground plans, detailed knowledge of engineering design principles, detailed knowledge of construction principles and standards. For the more senior position we are looking for experience working in a Lead Engineer role including programme management, commercial understanding, meeting delivery targets etc., whilst also having client interface skills.
For the less senior role we would expect candidates who can demonstrate experience and assist in site surveys, particularly topographical surveys, prepare level crossing ground plans with minimal mentorship, prepare Design Logs with minimal mentorship, attend client meetings as required, act as Lead Engineer as required
If either of these roles are of interest please contact Ian on ian.evans@abilitypeople.com or contact the office on 02031788044
