About the role
The Logistics Manager will lead the stores team in logistical deliveries. The position is linked to the Workshop team, to the Construction Field Managers, to the HSE advisors, to the QA/QC department and to the Procurement department. Responsible for avoiding any gap in heavy equipment and plant machines supplies for the construction teams on site
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the facilitation and co-ordination of all logistics /plant / materials / labour resources required by the Production Team to successfully carry out track renewals works on Rail infrastructure.
You will be the contact point for the haulage companies. With them, you will work out best traffic routes to take to get materials to site and create traffic route maps to issue to the haulage drivers.
You will prepare and manage the heavy equipment deliveries to the warehouse (rails, OLE masts, wire drums) and the plant machines deliveries from site to site (normal and abnormal loads)

About You
You will have knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office package. Experience in warehouse keeping, allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs. Experience in track/concrete work is highly desirable and would be a definite advantage.
