TXM Recruit is working closely with a leading Rail Engineering Consultancy. Our client is an innovative consultancy operating mainly in the UK, but who also hold a strong European footprint. They are industry experts, renowned for delivering high profile, safety critical railway engineering projects.
Due to further success in winning additional projects and their growing portfolio of accounts, they now have an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to work from their H/O offices in Derby, to help the business successfully deliver these exiting opportunities.

Brief Role Description:
Working on Projects with the Industry's leading names in Rolling Stock, you will hold responsibility for the development of conceptual design of electrical engineering solutions across a wide range of areas - such as; Systems, Maintenance, Installation, Assessment, Repair, Communication & Safety, Reliability & Performance and more….
You will work closely with the engineering team and the end client to ensure that the design and solution is achieved inline with customer expectation.
Experience & Qualifications Required
- HNC/ HND (or Degree) within Mechanical Engineering
- Ideally Chartered status (Or working towards)
- Good knowledge of Railway Group standards
- Some Project Management experience.
- Survey Experience (vehicle/ site/ design)
- Verbal and presentation skills
