Join this multinational design consultants growing rail division based in Sydney.
My client a leading design consultancy is currently seeking a permanent way design engineer to work within their Sydney CBD office on a various rail projects.
My client is looking to expand their transportation group in Sydney with the addition of a Permanent Way designer experienced in MXRail & INRail.
The correct candidate will be a key member in the rail team assisting engineers and project managers in the delivery of a wide range of commissions including strategic planning studies, feasibility studies, concept and detailed design projects, also as part of your role you will provide advanced technical and design input for multi-disciplinary projects as required and assist in the management of more junior staff.
With a minimum of 5 years experience in the consulting environment and being proficient in MXRail, INRail & AutoCAD, you will have a good knowledge of rail systems and the rail industry and general experience in permanent way and track design, earthworks and drainage. The successful candidate will be expected to train less experienced MX designers whilst coordinating and planning work loads, the correct candidate will have tertiary qualification & excellent communication skills . With a strong client focus and ability to work well within a team environment will be well be beneficial.
