A leading UK Civil Engineering / Rail Contractor have a new opportunity for a Possessions Planner/ SSOW Planner to join their project team who are engaged in major civil renewal and enhancement works for the Railways systems throughout the South East.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting and assisting the Project Managers, you will be responsible for identifying and securing required Possessions and Worksite access. It would be the case of Co-ordinating and monitoring Trains and OTMs required possessions.
As the appointed Possessions Planner and SSOW Planner , you will be expected to maintain the integrity of project plans and related resource requirements. You will need to check progress against plans and reports and collate and maintain train plans as necessary, also looking at LWRTs.
You will need to ensure that required wagon plans are finalised and all needed routes are available in accordance to schedules. You will also need to be a key contributor to Depot, OTM and Train planning meetings.
Requirements:
As the appointed Possessions Planner / SSOW Planner you will have experience preforming in a similar role, planning major programmes will possess the following:
Experience in the use of the NROL and PPS systems
Track access planning abilities
Will possess working knowledge of Railway engineering and associated infrastructure
Will have an appreciation of P3e
Have an appreciation of procurement processes
Will be experienced with liaising with clients and stockholders
Good communication and report writing abilities
