Critical Project Resourcing is currently looking for a highly experienced Principal Fire (Tunnel Ventilation) engineer.

You will undertake the fire/life safety engineering within the rail team of a major design consultancy who has a notable reputation on delivering rail/infrastructure projects.

You will do the design analysis in periods of low utilisation and will assist with the Tunnel Ventilation team where you will work on the tunnels and station ventilation activities.

As the Principal Fire Engineer you will be expected to undertake the rail simulation activities where you will provide your analysis and design skills.

Your Role:

-Deliver Fire/Life safety engineering
-Contribute to the ventilation and mechanical engineering input to road and rail projects and multi-disciplinary design and consultancy projects.
-Maintain and develop own knowledge across aspects of fire/life safety and tunnel ventilation.
-Observe the Company quality and project management disciplines and procedures in the field of fire/life and tunnel station ventilation engineering.

Requirements:

-Degree in Fire Engineering
-Chartered Engineer
-Minimum of 5 years experience in fire engineering and tunnel ventilation
-International Fire standards
-Flexible outlook and willingness to support areas of rail business unit.
