An international EPCM organisation with a presence across the world are seeking a Principal Signalling Design Engineer, ideally with a Principal Design IRSE license for their Newcastle office.
Newcastle is a beach side town of a reasonable size which is approximately 2 hours away from Sydney. The main rail projects in this area service the booming coal mine industry and a large number of capacity enhancement projects are currently underway. Signalling upgrades, modifications and new works installation are all part of this programme to increase rail freight traffic.
The Principal Signalling Designer will be responsible for managing a small team of designers and checking designs completed and also provide expert technical advice on specific design issues/challenges.
If you are interested in applying you'll be provided with a very competitive remuneration package along with relocation assistance and visa sponsorship.
