Due to the continued success in the securing of new long term projects a leading engineering brand seeks to employ a proven Systems Engineering professional in the role of Principal Systems Engineer .
In this highly rewarding position, which can be based in either their East Midlands or West Midlands offices, will see the Principal Systems Engineer play a lead role in the development of products focusing on both hardware and software integration.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with new and advanced technologies in this company's chosen field.
Role and Responsibilities
In the role of Principal Systems Engineer you will be tasked with leading an allocated System Engineering Team in delivering technical excellent on a variety of products. You will be responsible for planning and delivering development solutions focusing on reliability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) principals as well as ensuring that all projects are in line with systems standards, the client's standards and the company's procedures.
Due to the company's position of key supplier to their clients, you will have a key input into all tenders for new business as well as the development of new systems solutions.
Requirements
In order to be considered for the position of Principal Systems Engineer , all candidates will need to demonstrate and possess the following:
*Experienced in systems engineering (both hardware and software)
*Experienced in leading teams
*Hold a BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Systems Engineering or equivalent
*Experienced of working in the IT, Rail, Defence or any other safety critical environment
In return you will be offered a starting salary of between £45,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience accompanied with 25 days annual leave with option of additional days, pension and other flexible benefits.
