Our client is looking for a permanent Project Manager or Project Engineer to be based in North Yorkshire near Stockton.
Ideally we are looking for a candidate who has experience in successfully tendering Network Rail electrification projects.
Experience in 11kv / 750DC Network Rail sub stations.
Experience with 25kv OLE Network Rail Sub stations.
MICOM protection relays.
Contributing to the Form of Tender
Reviewing and Contributing to HSQE Responses, offering alternative engineering solutions that improve our client’s HSQE profile
Contributing to producing the tender Technical Methodology
Contributing to the Work Package Plan
Understanding and contributing to the Programme requirements, understanding the Isolation and RIMINI limitations and working with the planner to produce a clear and innovative plan that meets the client’s aspirations.
Provide an Engineering Solution whilst maintaining a view on value Engineering.
When the projects move in to Design & Construction the Engineer will work with the Project Manager to Manage the Engineering Processes of the following:
CEM / CRE’s approvals,
Pre Commissioning Planning and Meetings,
Design Approvals Process,
Provide Construction support.
Maintain Value Engineering throughout.
Ensure full O&M Documentation is completed throughout the project and ready at completion.
Ensure Commissioning is completed to programme and documented.
The successful candidate will be pushing these processes by chairing the meetings, although you may not necessarily be the CEM, CRE or Level A, However, if you do have any of these qualifications these would be beneficial.
