An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer Pways based in London, working for a large contracting Railway company. The main responsibility of the Project Engineer Pway will be to lead and direct the Pway Service Team's workload through a technically competent team which is capable of effective project delivery to the Pway Business Plans.
The Project Engineer Pways role will encompass:
Assisting with forecasting manpower requirements for the Pway service Team
To make sure the Pway team work with uniformity and on time and to targets
Review design processes and technical report submissions as well as effectively correcting mistakes
Responsible for staff training and development within the Pway Business Development team
Deal with Internal and Client technical queries and requests
Allocate roles to the different elements within Pway Service teams
Responsible for the design / checking of all reports / designs / submissions prior to issuing to Clients
To assist with the delivery and monitoring of live projects as required by the relevant Project Manager
The relevant experience needed to apply for the Project Engineer Pway role are:
An appropriate technical qualification (ie) Engineering Degree, HNCs, NVQs or equivalent
A strong understanding of the requirements of CDM
Previous experience working as a Project Engineer
Strong leadership skills
Strong Business Development skills
Strong client interfacing skills
This role will encompass being on call on occasions.
