PROJECT PLANNER - SIGNALLING - EAST MIDLANDS
Salary - Up to £50k depending on experience
Location - Midlands
Role
My client is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced P3 Planner to work on Rail Signalling projects in the East Midlands. Reporting to the Resource Manager, and Project Manager for deliverables, the P3 Planner will provide planning support to the Project Manager and deliver projects to an agreed scope, budget, timescale and quality.
In addition to previous experience, the successful P3 Project Planner will have an in depth knowledge of Railway Signalling, particularly Network Rail GRIP 3, 4 and 5 – 8.
Responsibilities will include:
" Adjusting plans for contract variations and align with the client and subcontractor expectations
" Identify risks and issues related to the project plan, including commercial risks, and highlight areas of concern to the Project Manager
" Regularly monitor and capture progress against specific project tasks
" Assist the project manager(s) in building project plans and programmes of work to agreed standards.
Experience
At least 3 years recent experience of Primavera project planning software, including P3 is ESSENTIAL. Along with this and also essential is at least 3 years experience in a commercially focused engineering or software project development environment. You must also have a proven ability to deliver work packages on time and to a high standard of quality.
Rail Signalling experience is desirable but not essential.
