My client a leading contractor in the Rail UK market has an immediate requirement for an Quantity Surveyor to join their Rail Civils team, applicants ideally need to be based in or around Walsall, Solihull, Coventry or Birmingham. Our Client is keen to hear from Quantity Surveyors who have worked in either the Rail or Civils sector and are keen to progress there career further.
To be considered you must have had experience in the following;
- Quantity Surveying in Rail Sector
- Degree Qualified
- Good Negotiation skills
- Good contract knowledge & contract administration
- Taking off ability including preparation of bills
- Excellent written and oral communication
Advantageous experience for the role would be;
- 3 years plus post qualified
- PTS
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Producing Tender enquiries
- Analysis of tender returns
- Drafting & negotiating sub contracts
- Managing sub-contractor accounts
- Production & agreement of final accounts with both sub-contractors & client
- Internal cost value reporting & control side of costs
