Our client is a world class systems and engineering technology consultancy that specialises in providing independent and expert advice to industries such as rail, aerospace, power, energy and defence sectors. Our client is seeking a systems engineer with a strong back ground in the rail sector who has direct experience of the design, development and assurance of complex rail infrastructure and rolling stock systems. The role will require you to engage directly with clients and to help develop business opportunities.
With a focus on the system lifecycle you will be involved in requirements development and management, concept generation, evaluation and selection, system design and system verification and planning and assessment. You will be involved with RAMS assessment, life cost modelling and assessment and risk assessment.
You will be an engineering graduate and have obtained or be pursuing Chartered Engineer status. To succeed you will be able to demonstrate experience of project lifecycle management from a systems engineering perspective and of stakeholder management.
