We are looking for a Tester in Charge - 1.3.190
Key Result Areas:
"Ensure the signalling project is managed and delivered on time, to budget and to group standards
"Manage and motivate scheme testing staff effectively
"Taking account of whole contract, identify potential variations and discuss with Project Team/Tendering Dept.
"Ensure contract is completed to meet required Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
"Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations for implementation
"Effectively carry out team briefing in technical documents and commissioning
"Carry out risk assessments
"Control hours worked
"Production of testing documents
"Carry out audits
"Maintain IRSE Logbook
"Manage all testing interfaces effectively
"Manage signalling disconnections
"Responsible for the complete testing of the signalling scheme
"Maintain Functional Tester and TIC Licences
Key Performance Indicators
"Customer perception/ complaints
"Staff absence & turnover
"No. of disciplinary/ grievance actions
"No. of variations to contract
"Internal/external audits
"No. of suggestions for improvements & no. implemented and lessons learnt

"Mod 1/3/4
"TIC Licence 1.3.190 or 1.3.180 or 1.3.260
"Valid PTS ac/dc certificate
"Emergency First Aid
"Manual Handling
"Knowledge of contract conditions

"Knowledge of risk assessment process
"In-depth knowledge of group & line standards
"Commercial awareness
"Knowledge of HSE requirements
"Appreciation of design & installation
