C. £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on level of experience)
A great opportunity has arisen due to company expansion for a Safety Manager in this fast growing company that is at the forefront of technology within its field. An experienced safety manager of railway management systems is required for our client. You will be responsible for the upkeep and development of the safety management system and generating an occupational health and safety policy. The role will be varied and interesting as you will play a role in all stages of operations, including product development, sales, project delivery and operational support.
The main focus is on design installation and product safety of equipment on rolling stock, responsibilities will include:
• To review the requirement s of the UK rail industry standards which control Safety Critical Work
• Generate a new health and safety policy and a set of processes to define how safety will be managed within the company.
• Assist the project managers to apply quality assurance into each project and into the development and procurement of new equipment.
