We are seeking to recruit a Sales Executive based near Hannover, Germany for our client who are the leading global provider of wireless solutions to the transportation sector.

Salary: 55,000 EURO

Role Definition

. Responsible for new customer acquisition within their assigned territories, using Nomad product set.
. Production and updating of sales plans for assigned territories. Responsible for delivery against agreed sales plan. Sales plan to be signed off by Regional Manager.
. Determining resource required for delivery of sales plan.
. Produce monthly report for Regional Sales Director D-A-CH.
. Updates sales pipeline on a regular basis (at least once per month).
. Production of high quality sales proposal produced in line with the bid process. The Junior Sales Manager will manage the bid unless the Bid Manager is requested by the Regional Sales Director to manage the bid process. The latter will occur for larger, more complex bids.
. Ensuring completeness of BOM and its consistency with the sales proposal.
. Responsible for delivery of contract or purchase order from customer. This includes contract negotiations when Nomad is in a preferred supplier position.
. Responsible for handover of new business to the operations function.
. Feedback product and service requests from the customer into the product function.
. Identify tactical marketing activities that should be considered within the specific territory.

The Person

. 1-3 years of experience in sales management in the public transport sector, ideally in the passenger information or communication business.
. Experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
. Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
. Languages: German (native) and English (fluent).
