A rail schemes development manager is required for a permanent position in Birmingham. This position will involve working for a major project for a huge contract where you will lead all of the signalling schemes and developments. This will involve planning, preparation, execution and evaluation of both signalling and engineering aspects of the project.
The role will involve budgeting (level ‘X’ estimates) and detailed target price packages, Signal Sighting, Signal Overrun assessments plus resourcing appropriate labour to deliver the workload.
The management aspect of the role will require you to prove your experience in managing staff.
The job will require;
•IST-P/AST level qualifications
•Extensive experience in Signalling Scheme Development
•Extensive knowledge of signalling principles and practices
•Engineering Degree or equivalent
•FP packages appropriate to engineering management
•Lotus notes
•Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
