Job Description
Our client is a national main contractor working across all sectors of the infrastructure market. They have proven and extensive civil engineering and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions from minor works through to major infrastructure projects.
Due to our growing order book an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Midlands region for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a high profile project in the Milton Keynes area.
Responsibilities
•Full quantity surveying duties
•Provision of pre and post contract project control and responsibility
•Planning, organisation and control
•Monitoring all work executed, at all stages, to ensure that an accurate and professional service is offered
•Professional interface with other disciplines and the client's representative
•To ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients
Requirements
•Extensive experience in working on civil engineering projects, specifically Roads/Highways
•HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying
•Strong Commercial Skills
•Computer literate
•Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative
•Productive supervision of subordinates including adequate planning, monitoring and control
•Ability to manage a team on complex projects
