Working for a large consultancy based in London. The company in question are a major player in the Rail industry and are heavily involved in worldwide projects. Currently recruiting for a Senior RAMs Engineer

Salary is negotiable depending on levels of experience.

Job Description:

Will report directly to the RAMS Team Manager in Railways Division

- Will undertake RAMS engineering activities for clients in the UK rail industry
- Will create fault trees, event trees and reliability block diagrams using tools referenced in the candidate specification
- Will undertake FMECAs of rail assets and systems
- Will be based South London with likely day-to-day working from a client office in central London
- Possible visits to site.

Candidate Specification:
- Degree-level qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Some formal training or supervised work in applying RAMS Engineering methods, tools and techniques
- Proven experience of undertaking FMECA and availability assessments
- Proven experience of involvement in hazard identification / risk assessment workshops
- Ability to use Isograph FaultTree+ and Availability Workbench (or AvSim+) tools
- Recent experience of RAMS engineering within the railway industry would be advantageous
- Ability to communicate and report, in both verbal and written English, to colleagues and customers on highly technical matters
