Design Engineer (4 – 5 months)

Rates Negotiable

You will need:

• License 1.1.150C/D or equivalent as a minimum.
• SSI line side equipment knowledge (ability to check designs using DLM’s, TFM’s and LDT’s)
• Dorman LED signal technology (including PLJI, PLGS, MARI & SARI)
• Mixed Point machine types (Clamp-lock, HW, HPSA, IBCL, etc.)
• BR spec 867 train detection.
• AzLM axle counters at fringes (Not essential requirement).

The role:

To undertake Detailed Design of design details for SSI trackside Projects. Working as part of the design team. To interface to the Design Manager, in reporting progress of the works assigned for the project.

They will therefore be required to:

• Location Plans
• Bonding Plans
• Control Tables
• Location and REB wiring
• Power Calculations (Signalling)
