Railway signalling design manager wanted or principle design engineer looking to develop licence and skills for a permanent position in the rail district of York.
Main job responsibilities include;
-Management of a team involved in designing, specifications, reports and drawings
-Meeting client expectations of designs
-Mentoring staff
Main job requirements include;
-UK Signalling Principle Design Engineer skills (knowledge of standards, procedures, CAD)
-IRSE principle or manager designers licence – 1.1.145 with or plans to obtain IRSE workplace assessor
-Broad experience of UK Signal Design
-Bidding, planning and resource management experience
-Experience in line management
-Signalling design checking experience
-Able to work trackside
