Railway Signalling Functional Tester - Based in Berkshire - Salary Competitive
One of the UK's signalling companies are currently recruiting for a signalling functional tester to work on one of their most prestigious projects currently being undertaken.
Salary and Location
The salary is negotiable and the role will be based primarily in Reading with travel to other sites across the UK.
Role Description
Within this role you will be responsible for the functional testing on the signal upgrade and the safe delivery of the component parts of a signalling scheme. It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is completed compliant to the contract and to group standard and identify variations to contract & pass to Project Manager. As signal tester it will be your role to identify potential process improvements and make recommendations for implementation and ensure a safe system of work is maintained
Required Experience
For this role you will need to have a good understanding of the railways rules and regulations as well as having a current PTS (personal track safety) certificate/card. You must have an IRSE licence in signal functional testing .
