My client is one of the leading independent railway technology advisers in UK and Europe, supplying advanced signalling solutions combining the design and delivery of hardware, software and specialist consultancy to improve business performance.
As a leading force in the industry my client continually adapts and diversifies, this has resulted in a need to expand their Signalling Engineering team in the Midlands.
You will have major responsibility for all engineering activities, including inter or multi disciplinary activities primarily specific to Network Rail projects. Accountable for all design and construction controls to ensure that they are compliant with the applicable standards, legislation, contract requirements. Management of the interfaces between areas of responsibility – such as design, installation and testing activities and implementing risk management processes.
The individual we are seeking will ideally hold, or be actively working towards, IRSE Project Engineers license 1.2.230 and/or hold CRE status. Good communication skills and good understanding of design process, installation and testing technical procedures are required with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and to a high standard of quality.
