Signalling Planner - Based in Derby or Birmingham
Salary and Location
The salary offered will be circa £50,000pa and will be based in the Midlands
An opportunity has arisen for a signalling planner to provide support on the delivery of projects to an agreed scope, budget, timescale and quality
Role Description
This role requires you to
Assist the project managers in the building project plans and programmes of work to the agreed standard
Ensure that the task dependencies are accurately represented and projects have an appropriate baseline
Resource load project plans and ensure that resource requirements are accurately reflected in the companies resource planning tool.
Regularly monitor and capture progress against specific project tasks
Provide weekly / monthly plan and progress feedback to the project manager
Communicate effectively with the project manager, project team and resource management in a consistent manner.
Adjust plans for contract variations and to align with client and subcontractor expectations
Required Experience:
For this role you will be required to:
Have at least 3 years experience of Primavera project planning software- including P6
Good communication and reporting skills
Educated beyond A level
Have a proven track record of working in the rail industry, specifically signalling
At least 3 years experience of a commercially focussed engineering or software project development environment.
