The National Delivery Service (NDS) function brings together a wide range of services on a ‘one-stop shop’ basis; it provides a network-wide procurement and supply service for plant and materials, provides logistics and ensures that blockades and possessions across the network have what they need to start and finish on time. This support mobilises the massive works to rebuild and renew our railway. We are looking for people to join this dynamic team which is at the heart of all we do.
Asset Management Control Centre is the 24/7/365 element of the National Delivery Service.
Brief Vacancy Description
The advertised position within the control centre is for a site access controller. The position is 12 hour shifts that covers days, nights & weekend work.0700 - 1900 - day shift1900 - 0700 - night shift.
Detailed External Job Description
The primary role of the position is to book client & contractor staff on and off the railway.Answering telephone queries and running daily, weekly and monthly reports.Excellent telephone manner & computer skills required.Good geographically knowledge also required.
