Technical Engineering Manager - London

Salary and Location
A basic salary of up to £55000 is on offer alongside a generous package.

One of the UK’s largest power suppliers requires a technical engineering manager to work within the overground rail division and become responsible for all aspects of the engineering works including design, testing, commissioning and handover

Role Description
The role requires you to oversee the engineering works and ensure that all aspects are implemented in accordance with the company procedures, processes and the clients requirements. It will be your responsibility to interface with clients as well as the commissioning team and central engineering scheme. The role requires that you ensure design compliance of the installation and that all designs are compliant with the relevant requirements. As engineering manager you will hold regular engineering review meetings and implement testing and commissioning strategy, plans and programmes. You will also be responsible to ensuring risk control measures are applied and that all safety decisions are communicated to staff.

Required Experience
For this role you will be required to be experienced in the design and commissioning of AC and DC electrical equipment as well as having proven technical management abilities. You need to have a qualification within an electrical engineering discipline as well as having an awareness of Network Rail’s standards and regulations.
