A superb contract opportunity has arisen working the UK’s leader in the rail industry; they seek a Track Shift Supervisor to join them for 6 months in Kent.
The Track Shift Supervisor will manage and direct the Rail Management team to achieve business and functional objectives. You will also manage development of individuals and the engagement of the team along with managing the arrangements for staff safety and competence.
You will also identify and implement asset performance, reliability, productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives. Other tasks include developing and agreeing inspection, testing and maintenance programmes along with delivering inspecting, testing and work in accordance with the agreed programme.
It is important you have excellent technical experience in Railway Track Welding and Grinding along with technical competence in ULTRASONICS AND NDT (NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING). You also possess detailed knowledge of relevant track standards and procedures
If you meet the above qualities and have knowledge of other functional disciplines within Railway, knowledge of operational Railway environment and hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification we would like to talk to you
The successful applicant will be expected to work day and night shifts, including weekends. In return for your skills on this 6 month contract, the Track Shift Supervisor can expect to receive an excellent day rate.
