CTRL project currently requires a temporary Shift Supervisor to manage and direct the Rail Management team in the inspection, testing and maintenance of rails (in particular, Welding & Grinding) and associated assets to NR & CTRL Standards and within agreed resource levels.
As Shift Supervisor, the successful applicant will be expected to work day and night shifts, including weekends.
Requirements
- Technical competence in rail management processes and techniques
- Experience in Track Welding, Grinding, Ultrasonic & Non-destructive testing - essential
- Detailed knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
- Experience of Supervising / Managing a Track Maintenance Team
- Knowledge of operational Railway environment
- Good interpersonal, influencing, communication, organisation skills
- Knowledge of coaching techniques
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
