Charity Aims For Christmas Train Card Sales

The tenth anniversary of the charity Railway Children is being marked with a new selection of ten Christmas cards.

Western Region ExpressThe designs, which the charity says are selling fast, depict trains passing through memorable scenes, from a traditional steam train in the snow to a 1950s Princess Royal at the West Coast Main Line’s Lune Gorge.

Railway Children helps provide services for runaway or abandoned street children who have been found to be most at risk during Lune Gorgethe first few days or weeks away from home. Railway Children steps in when the opportunity for family reunification, protections and developmental opportunities are greatest.
