Big hearted staff at Bodyguard Workwear Ltd decided to organise a Free Charity Eye Camp in India instead of sending Christmas cards.

Thousands of people in third world countries are going blind, because they cannot afford a simple operation. The company set out to help by paying for a three day Charity Eye Camp. The exercise has proved a great success. Over 1000 patients received medication for curing eye defects and infections. 120 patients were successfully operated on for cataract removal. Patients received free accommodation and food and were taken home by private ambulances after treatment as they had travelled from 57 different towns and villages.
