Halcrow's commitment to excellence and business improvement, and its outstanding performance and competitive business positioning, have been recognised at this year's British Quality Foundation (BQF)'s Awards. At a ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel, London, the company's consulting business was awarded the BQF's UK Excellence Award, one of the UK's most recognised business awards.
Halcrow was praised by the jury for perfecting internal processes, resource management and partnership development. The company was also commended for its dedication to core business objectives, corporate obligation and excellence.
Joe Goasdoué, Chief Executive of the British Quality Foundation, said: "Halcrow is a very successful company and I have no doubt that its approach to excellence and continuous improvement is an important factor in its success. We are proud that it has been one of our leading members for many years and delighted that it has won our 2008 UK Excellence Award.
