Leuchars air show

First ScotRail is once more offering customers
travelling to the Leuchars Airshow on 13 September, the chance to
purchase a combined rail and entry ticket.
Offering greater
convenience and piece of mind, this all-inclusive bargain rail and
entry package is available when booked in advance – giving a £4
discount for adults.
In addition, First ScotRail will be running
extra trains to Leuchars from a number of key stations, providing more
seats and more travel opportunities - encouraging more visitors to
leave their cars at home and head for the show by train.
The combined ticket includes return rail travel from all stations to Leuchars and entry to the show.
Adults
travelling with children can take advantage of First ScotRail’s Kids Go
Free ticket. This allows up to two children, up to the age of 15, to
travel free when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Tickets for the
show can be purchased on arrival. Families can make further savings by
purchasing the advance discounted Airshow Family ticket.
Steve
Montgomery, First ScotRail’s operations and safety director, urged
people to take the train and save time by purchasing the all inclusive
package which is available to September 13.
He said: “Roads
round and about the event can get very busy due to the ever increasing
popularity of the airshow. We are offering a practical, value for money
alternative to taking the car. With discounted tickets and additional
services, visitors can leave their cars at home and travel to the event
without needing to worry about parking."
