Nude on the tube

Four nude actors surprised passengers and staff on the Underground at Charing Cross station recently.

The unclothed customers were promoting a new series of The Naked Office. Startled passengers witnessed the unconcerned cast walking through the station and boarding a train using briefcases and hand bags to cover up. The stunt was part of a TV show that advises office workers to strip off at work. Change specialist Seven Suphi says nudism boosts self confidence.

Says Seven Suphi, ‘For most people in the UK going to work in the nude is a very daunting prospect. I believe this extreme process will help them push their boundaries and become a close team that trust each other enough to get naked together.'

The PR stunt was well received by morning passengers. However rail officials have been keen to stress the industry has no plans for similar initiatives.
