November 26th 2009
Fancy climbing the highest mountains in the UK, jumping out of a plane, cycling from London to Paris or climbing Kilimanjaro? If so, this is your opportunity to take on the challenge of a lifetime.
Railway Children has launched their latest programme of events. It includes the popular Three Peaks Challenge by Rail, the only charity to do this event by train. There is also the 24 Peaks Challenge. Climb 24 mountains in 24 hours - not for the faint-hearted! A new event for 2010 is the Tough Ness Challenge, a 40km hike and 30km bike along the beautiful Great Glen Way in Scotland. If you would like to follow in Chris Moyles's footsteps, how about a trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro.
If you have been thinking about doing something different or life changing, Railway Children will help you all the way with lots of support, training advice and help with fundraising. Not only will you do an amazing personal challenge, you will also be helping some of the world's street children at the same time. These events are fantastic for corporate team building, comradeship, personal achievement and simply having fun.
