How do I get my PTS Certificate?
Anyone wishing to gain their PTS certificate needs to be sponsored by a Network Rail approved company. Here are a few suggestions to help you gain sponsorship.

• Ask the rail company that you work for to sponsor you. 
  Your sponsor would normally be your current employer.
• Ask the railway company you want to work for.

• Contact rail recruitment agencies to see if they will sponsor you.
  If you are looking for ad hoc or casual rail work then contact our rail recruitment agencies and ask their advice as they may be willing to sponsor you. They will pay for your training as you will then be working directly for the agency.
• Contact rail training companies for sponsorship.
  Some training companies sponsor candidates themselves – others insist on a third-party being the sponsor.
