Summary of Role
Reporting to the appointed Contract / Project / Construction Manager the Site Manager is responsible for managing an individual or series of projects (dependent upon size or complexity) in respect to the construction of a project. They will ensure that all works are managed and coordinated to deliver on safety, quality and environmental objectives.
The SM will ensure that all works, including those of suppliers and subcontractors are completed to programme, budget and quality standards expected and in a professional and ethical manner adhering to commercial guidelines, established best practice and professional/company standards.
Promote the development of team members and actively encourage effective relationships.
In the senior site representative function, they are ultimately responsible for the resourcing, development and leadership of a team, defining and communicating contract objectives and constraints and complying with health, safety and environmental legislation, thereby delivering the product on time, within budget and to the agreed quality.
Qualifications:
CSCS Card to correct management level
SMSTS
First aid at work
Competent in Microsoft office
Competent in Microsoft project or similar applications
Necessary Experience
Five years' tier one contractor experience
Delivery experience from 100k-10m
Commercial refurbishment and new build delivery
Desired Experience
Working with ministry of justice
Working within the health care sector
Heritage works
